Common questions

I forgot my password.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your username, your recovery code and a new password. You can create a recovery code anytime in Profile → Account. No code? Email us with your username and we'll send you a one-time reset code.

How do I log push-ups?
On the Today screen, tap a quick-add button (+1, +5, +10, +20) or type a custom number and tap Log. To fix or remove a set, open History and tap it.

Why was my set rejected?
To keep competitions fair, one set can be at most 200 push-ups, and a day can have at most 2,000. You can also log at most 300 push-ups in any 5 minutes. Sets that count toward a duel or challenge can't be edited, only deleted.

How do streaks work?
Hit your daily goal to keep your streak going. If you miss a day, a streak freeze covers you once a week.

How do I add friends?
Go to Friends and search for their username, or copy your invite link. Anyone who signs up with your link becomes your friend automatically.

What's the Drop?
Once a day, at a random time, everyone gets 5 minutes to show up and log their best set. Your friends see who showed up and who did the most. In the iPhone and Android apps, tap "Turn on Drop alerts" on the Today screen to get a notification when it starts. Warm up first, and skip it if you're sore or hurt.

How do tag chains work?
After you log a set, tag a friend to beat your best set today within 24 hours. If they beat it, they can pass it on to the next friend. Targets top out at 100.

How do I report or block someone?
Tap their name (on a friend's card, the worldwide leaderboard, a group, or the ⋯ next to a search result) and choose Report or Block. We review reports within 24 hours. Blocking unfriends you and hides you from each other; unblock anytime in Profile.

Can I change my color?
You pick your color when you sign up, and it stays that way.

How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile, scroll down and tap Delete account, then enter your password. This permanently deletes your account and data.
